One Day

Ruptured blisters

And sinister tones.

Sharp reminders that you’re still alone.

Pockets of air under the blanket.

Cold tingles on your skin.

You don’t even know how to begin.

Exquisite pastel renderings

Of seaside towns.

You won’t ever be able to keep me down.
