The First Phase

You greeted me

With something approaching revulsion.

Why?

Because I’m who you used to be,

So many years ago, long before

You stumbled into love,

And made enough money

To finally settle the score.

I deserve better, no doubt,

It is true.

I will start right now, with a bang.

The first phase begins with throwing you out.
