Science Rules

3 pills in the morning.
1 as needed during the day
And 2 before bed
To calm your mind and stave off the dread.
Add a little exercise
And a healthy meal here and there.
You’ll be feeling better, almost brand new.
Just don’t ever hope to be the old you.
Wonders of science.
Your doctor is on all the right boards
And he takes pain to assure
That you’re clear this is no promise of a cure.
Go on, be free.
Though you can’t feel emotions
Or find a job you can keep,
At least you can lay down and escape with sleep.
