Locomotion

Some would call it tragic,
But really it was just a lack of momentum.
No forward energy
Left in a train made up of two cars
Slowly, slowly coming apart.
A disentanglement meant to be
If you were watching from a distance
And had no heart.
Two cars now at a stop,
Along the iron track, desperate for a start.
