Consequences Come Due

All of the perversity
Lurking in your mind
Leaks out when I come around.
I should recognize what I’ve found.

You are not complex and mysterious.
You revel in your worst instincts
And love to see me squirm.
I don’t think you’ll ever learn.

The curtain is pulled back
And soon they’ll all see
The side you shield from view.
It won’t be long til no one respects you.

I don’t want to tear you down,
But you’ve brought this on yourself.
Despicable acts demand a high price
And there’s no way I’ll let you do this twice.
