Tense music played,
But all you wanted was to be out of the way
Of whatever was coming next.
You’re a smart kid
And you regretted what you just did,
But that’s not stopping payback
From rushing in with a blow
To make clear what you already know:
Don’t pretend to be tough.
Just stay in your lane
Because life will never be the same
If you lose a hand in this game.
