I want to return
I need to atone.
For the many transgressions
That have left me alone.

It goes beyond mere acts.
I lost my way in my head and in my heart.
I need to come clean in
My soul and faithfully restart.

I’ve seen people at their lowest points.
Equal partners with me, eye to eye.
So maybe we all deserve a chance?
Because after all, who am I?

I ask for your prayers
And also your hand.
G-d will provide the opportunity
Because now I am a humbled man.
