It starts with a layer of black.
Always black upon black.
Because it all begins in the dark.
The anguish and the dread
Rise up and flick the spark
For a sorrow that engulfs you,
Snuffing out all hope.
What’s the point in being awake
When life is downhill, a steady descent?
How much more can you possibly take?
