All of them combined describe the state of the world, not so much the state of my mind. The variations on them work as well and I’m sure many people can expand on the list. The problem isn’t my thoughts or feelings. The problem is the state of the world and the fact that so many of us distract ourselves with moronic, inconsequential nonsense to make it through the day. It’s understandable, but ultimately pointless.
