An Angel on His Shoulder

Sacred.
But inside he’s scared, don’t you know?
A shattered boy
Desperate to let go.

Appearances deceive
And you’re not the first to end up here
Absorbed by his charisma,
Lost in a moment, unaware of the fear.

No one is safe,
Him least of all.
His face a mirror, showing what you want.
Believe, believe and you won’t fear the fall.
