Clarity comes at a price, as all things worthy of having do. But the trick with it is, that as soon as you see things for what they are, something new rolls in and drops the veil. The thick, nearly opaque veil you thought may not return. But it settles in and you are back to working out ways to get over, around or through it to a state that you fear will slip away again.
It’s a learned call and response because you feel you deserve to know what you are up against. So you persevere with the thinnest of hopes that tomorrow or the next day may be one where you can see all of the moves you must make for the rest of your days. The last moves that finally quell the desperate restlessness in your head.
