The Weight of a Name

We all have names, and for most it’s just something you live with. You never think much about it when it’s common or a bit dull, but my name is a dead weight. An anchor around my skinny neck. Who wants to be the fourth of anyone? It’s like I’m expected to regurgitate the mistakes and inadvertent good deeds of my namesakes and that isn’t what I’m here for. I am here for making my own way, however absurd and outlandish it may be.
