I turned the volume the way down, but I kept the subtitles on. Somehow that movie meant more to me than any other. Images and no audio. Not a silent film exactly, but an experiment worth repeating. Have you ever left something you assumed was essential out-shut it off-to measure the result? It is an insightful lesson for a patient and curious person. But that’s not you, sadly.
