Blue Sunset Promises

It was bad news, to be sure, but we get bad news every day and we absorb it and move on. The best of us do. But I’m more like the middle crowd: sometimes up, sometimes down. And this news made me down. Right now, I need that thing that makes me smile or laugh or maybe even a blue sky that helps me realize tomorrow will be a better day.
